Robustel R1520 is a versatile 4G router designed for demanding environments, featuring 5 Ethernet ports, GPS, and E-mark certification for in-vehicle use. It includes optically isolated digital I/O, a 10-bit analog input for sensors, and a 2-wire RS485 interface with Modbus support. The RS232 port offers RTS/CTS lines for hardware handshaking. Despite its cost-effectiveness, the R1520 delivers high packet-forwarding performance and runs on RobustOS, a Linux-based operating system developed in-house for enhanced technical support and stability. Unique software features include RobustVPN, which provides a flexible hosted VPN service for a “fixed IP router” experience.
