As reported, on December 4, 2017, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1944/QD-TTg on putting the 500kV power transmission system in the list of important works related to national security. .
In order to implement Decision No. 1944/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, on May 29, 2018, in Da Nang city, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the People’s Committee of Da Nang city and the Electricity Group. Vietnam held a ceremony to announce the Prime Minister’s decision on the inclusion of the 500 kV power transmission system in the list of important works related to national security.
At the ceremony, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and related ministries and branches, and leaders of the provinces and cities that have the 500 kV power transmission system passed agreed to evaluate the special importance of the system. power transmission in general and 500 kV power transmission system in particular in the national energy security development strategy.
Right from 1994, after the North-South 500kV power transmission system was put into operation, the Government paid great attention to the system safety protection by issuing Directive No. April 23, 1994 on the safety protection of the North-South 500kV power transmission system to direct relevant ministries, branches and local authorities at all levels to participate in the safety protection of the transmission system. 500 kV electricity.

The world is still experiencing complicated developments, terrorist incidents continue to increase, “peaceful evolution” activities are still potentially dangerous. On December 4, 2017, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 1944/QD-TTg approved the inclusion of the 500 kV power transmission system in the list of important works related to national security.
